The conference nearly tripled in attendance size from last year’s conference and was a day and a half of educational sessions, workshops and networking. The sessions included Approaching the Glass Ceiling, Bridging the Generational Divide and Championing Diversity and Inclusion, as well as Communicating with Confidence and Unconscious Bias.
Annette was joined by iA Institute/Inside ARM CEO, Stephanie Eidelman, as well as two other panelists-Erin Stewart of Interactions and Kristyn Leffler of Resurgent and spoke to the conference attendees on Advocating for You. Each panelist shared their own story. In addition to her story, Annette shared a four-part advocacy plan, which was very well-received by the participants, many of whom requested a copy for themselves and their team members. Inside ARM has offered to publish the plan. Annette remarked, “This conference was so enriching and networking with the women in financial roles, especially in the collection industry was invaluable. I am pleased that my remarks resonated with so many.”
While the plans for next year’s conference are still in the making, the first weekend in December has been reserved at a location in Savannah, GA. Certainly, a worthwhile event!
